Dr Caroline Walker qualified in medicine in 2002 from Imperial College School of Medicine (St. Mary’s Hospital). She underwent her initial post-graduate training in London then speciality training in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine in the Oxford Deanery rotating through the John Radcliffe, Wexham Park and Royal Berkshire Hospitals. She also spent time training at the Royal Darwin Hospital, Northern Territory, Australia and deployed as a reservist to the British Military Hospital in Afghanistan.
Dr Caroline Walker was appointed as a consultant at MKUH in April 2014. She provides anaesthesia for all specialities in the hospital with her main speciality interests being critical care medicine and trauma. She also has interests in education, quality improvement and human factors training.
