Estates

The atmosphere in our busy hospital is friendly and informal. The working environment is spacious, with wards and departments built around attractive courtyards.

Facilities

There are many on site amenities available to staff. They include a restaurant and baguette bar, a shop run by the Friends of Milton Keynes Hospital, a florist, hairdressers and a cash point.

There is also a library and staff have access to all the services of the Occupational Health Department.

To support working parents, an on site nursery is available. It provides full time and sessional care for children aged between six weeks and five years.

Training

We are proud of our commitment to developing staff. The Trust offers a range of training programmes, in a relaxed and friendly environment. Personal growth and awareness are encouraged. Individuals can fulfil their current role, and prepare for future challenges.

Most of our training courses are held on site, at the modern Post Graduate Centre, and we have plans to build a large academic building on the site and become a full teaching hospital.
